We are a beautifully
landscaped Junior and Senior High School, in the Western
Negev, Eshkol Municipality, founded in 1969 by the Kibbutz
Movement. |
Our current enrollment of about 680 students derives
from 14 kibbutzim, a few moshavim, and neighbouring cities and towns. |

Teachers and Staff |
Our students study Humanities and most Academic subjects
in a Special Programme of Group Investigative Learning. This project
is now entering its fifth year. |
Junior High School |
Arabic Studies; Mechanics; Bible Studies; Biology;
Chemistry; Computer Programming; English-Hebrew Translation; Fashion
Design; Film; Graphic Design; Mathematics; Nutrition; Photography;
Physics; Plastic Arts; and Science and Technology.
In addition to the mandatory courses required by the Ministry
of Education, we offer a wide variety of optional courses from
which our students choose. |

We have opened a special English Centre which is devoted to
a Central Topic, with a variety of learning options. Our learners
select a programme of study according to their learning style
and personal interest. In year 2000, our subject was Political
Assassinations. This year, we are studying Teenagers Around the
World with our Junior High Students and Literature Enrichment
with our High School Students. |

Boarding facility for students from Grade 8 - 12,
available to students from Kibbutzim from the Kibbutz Artzi movement.
This institution thrives with special projects, seminars, and events
of its own, as well as operating in full co-operation with Ma'ale
Habsor. |
Mossad |
Our High School students (grades 10 -12) work one
day a week on their kibbutz, in school, or as volunteers in their
city, as part of their curricular requirements.Various branches include:
Kibbutz Branches:Beef Cattle, Children's Houses, Dairy Cattle, Dining
Room, Factories, Field Irrigation, Food Preparation, Landscape Gardening,
Laundry, Poultry and others.City Branches: Civil Guard; Community
Service; Old Folks Homes, Educational Assistants for Special Students;
Magen David Adom (Israeli Red Cross), Printing Houses, local television
and radio stations.School Branches: Cleaning, Computer Department |
Work Days
Places of Employment |
By the end of the 12th grade, all students must submit
a researched final project on an approved subject of their choice.
This project is then externally graded by an expert in the field,
and duly completes their requirements for graduation. |
